The sillao, also known as soy sauce, is an ingredient of oriental origin with great presence in the international gastronomy; it is used to season and macerate many meats, providing a wonderful result.

- ½ cup of sillao or soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Preparation
- In a large bowl pour the soy sauce, the ground garlic, seasoning and mixing
- Immerse the chicken pieces in the liquid for 1 hour
- In a frying pan with hot oil, fry the chicken pieces on both sides
- Once cooked the chicken pieces, remove them from the fire and reserve
- In the same frying pour the dressing of soy sauce that left over and cook over low heat
- Dissolve the cornstarch in half cup with water and to reserve
- When the dressing of its first boil, pour the dissolve cornstarch in water and stir quickly to avoid lumps
- Serve the chicken pieces with the boiled potatoes and pour over the dressing of the soy sauce
Secrets of the chicken with soy sauce
- You can add tausi and/or mensi to the dressing
- You can also add some vegetables used in the chifa (Chinese cabbage, Chinese onion, etc.)
- It is recommended to take great care when salt preparation, since the soy sauce is quite salty
