Ingredients for the pastry with ham and cheese
- 300 g puff pastry
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons oil or butter
- 1/2 kilo of good quality ham chopped into very small cubes
- 1 cup shredded gouda or manchego cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3 eggs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion and stir
- You can add olives or chopped mushrooms
- 1 tablespoon sesame.
Preparation
Greased the refractory where you will bake the puff pastry. Flatten the dough and cover the bottom and edges of the dish with it. Mix the ham, onion, cheese, sour cream and 2 eggs and season with salt and pepper. If you’re going to add olives or mushrooms do it now. Pour the mixture over the pastry evenly spreading. Cover with another layer of puff pastry by sealing the edges with a fork. Beat remaining egg and varnishing the pastry, sprinkle the sesame. Bake 30-45 minutes at 180° until the pasta is cooked. We recommend using a transparent refractory to check that the bottom is well cooked but not burned.
